AikiBudo Seminar 2025 - Thank you!

AikiBudo Seminar 2025 was held on 1–2 November 2025 as part of the Japan Autumn Festival 2025, celebrating its 10th anniversary in Hong Kong. The event successfully provided deep insights of Aikido, through cultural exchange and practical training.

The seminar comprised two key sessions:

- Concepts and Principles of Aikido: Participants explored core foundational movements, techniques emphasizing harmony and non-resistance, and Ukemi (safe falling) for confident practice.

- Restraint and Removal (Self-Defense): Drawing from Aikido's non-aggressive philosophy, this focused on takedowns, pins, and safe control methods, including responses to threats like weapons.

Our partcipants included Chinese martial artists (e.g., Tai Chi, Kung Fu practitioners), local Aikido-ka and new beginners creating a dynamic environment of respect and collaboration.

Our sincere thanks go to instructors Ramlan Ortega Shihan (7th Dan) and Kent Yew Kyoshi (5th Dan) from Aikido Shudokan Malaysia for their passionate, dedicated teaching. We also appreciate the diverse participants' energy, which enriched the seminar. Positive feedback underscored the event's practical and inspirational value.

AikiBudo Seminar 2025 喺 2025 年 11 月 1 至 2 號舉行，作為「香港日本秋祭 2025」嘅一部分，慶祝呢個節日喺香港舉辦嘅 10 週年。活動好成功咁透過文化交流同實踐訓練，提供咗合氣道嘅深入見解。

研討會包括兩個主要環節：

- **合氣道的概念與原則**：參加者探索咗核心基礎動作，強調和諧與非抵抗嘅技巧，仲有「受身」（安全落身）訓練，讓大家練習時更有自信同安全。

- **制服與移除（自衛）**：源自合氣道非攻擊性哲學，呢個環節重點講摔技、壓制（固定），同安全控制方法，包括應對武器等威脅嘅實用技巧。

我哋嘅參加者包括中國武術家（例如太極、功夫從業員）、本地合氣道家同新手，營造咗一個充滿尊重同合作嘅動感環境。

我哋衷心感謝來自合氣道修道館馬來西亞嘅 Ramlan Ortega 師範（七段）同 Kent Yew 教士（五段），佢哋熱情而專注嘅教學，令研討會更豐富。我哋亦好感激唔同背景參加者注入嘅活力同熱誠，佢哋嘅參與令活動更添色彩。正面反饋反映咗活動嘅實用性同啟發價值，真係好感動。
