AIKIBUDO SEMINAR 2026 - THANK YOU!
The two days of training across three sessions with Joe Thambu Shuseki Shihan passed so quickly. The seminar received strong participation from many Aikido practitioners and members of the martial arts community in Hong Kong.
We are deeply grateful for Joe Sensei’s precious time and dedicated teaching throughout his visit to Hong Kong. What we gained was valuable not only as lessons on the mat, but also as insights into the martial way in everyday life.
Our sincere thanks go to the ASHK students who joined us, to the sempai who travelled from the Hombu Dojo (Aikido Shudokan) in Australia, to fellow practitioners from Aikido (Aikikai) dojos in Hong Kong, and especially to friends from the wider Hong Kong martial arts community (Karate, Iaido, Kendo, Wing Chun, BJJ, Kickboxing and others) who took the time to attend and support our event.
We are also very grateful to the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong for their support and for selecting our event as part of the Japan Autumn Festival in Hong Kong 2026. We hope AikiBudo Seminar 2026 has helped share the beauty of Japanese culture — the spirit of the martial way and the cultivation of body, mind and spirit through Aikido ⛩️🥋🌸.
We look forward to seeing everyone again at AikiBudo Seminar 2027! Please follow our website and Facebook/Instagram pages for the latest updates on future events. Visit our Facebook page to see our event photos Day 1: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Qsa262YoX/
